Setting your browsers HOMEPAGE

Setting your browser to open to a specific webpage you use all the time

Locating the tool button on your browser

Each browser is a little bit different on how to get to the internet options button

Select tools, this will either be a

or it could be the word tools if you have files open in your browser

Files, Views, Option, Tools.... this may be at the top of your browser

or

The symbol that is blue is the tool button you want. This is used for many browser

ok once you have located the tool button on your browser the rest is easy

Internet Explorer

click tools, click internet options

Then a window will open that looks like this

In this window there is a box with a web address highlighted in blue

change this web address to one you want your browser to open too

Example: www.google.com, www.mail.aol, www.gmail.com (these addresses will set your email to open in your browser, www.larryscomputerclasses.com

You can put any web address in this box

Then click OK and close your browser and re-open

Firefox

select tools, options, options

A window will open

In the box that says HOME PAGE change the web address to whatever you want

click OK and close your browser and re-open

Safari

Tools, preferences a window will open

In the HOMEPAGE box change the web address to whatever you want

click OK and close your browser and re-open

Opera

Tools, setting, preferences a window will open

In the HOMEPAGE box change the web address to whatever you want

Click OK and close your browser and re-open
